what to expect

Being part of the LORE dance company means more than just perfecting technique—it's about transforming into a well-rounded artist who thrives both on and off stage. Our collaborative environment nurtures personal growth, strengthens teamwork abilities, and unlocks new dimensions of artistic expression through storytelling.

This is a competition company which requires extensive weekly training (5+ hours) from August through May each year. It also requires significant financial and travel commitments for competitions (aprox. 6-8) throughout the season. We do work with school schedules as much as possible, but we ask that dance is prioritized during our competition season of January through May.

A high level of dedication, discipline, and respect for the performing arts is essential for company dancers to maintain growth and achieve casting goals. However, dancers benefit from curated dance instruction, competitive challenges, team bonding and service opportunities, and exclusive access to LORE studio events. Plus, the company of like-minded, lifelong friends and mentors!
